We do know that it gives us pardon and peace with Him. God gives us His grace and mercy. These two traits, however, are not the same. * Grace vs. Mercy * Mercy deals with the stress, distress, and destructiveness of sin. Grace deals with the actual sin itself. * The symptoms of our sin are dealt with by mercy.
